The problem

What we built
- Inventory with per-item availability calendars, so double-bookings became impossible rather than merely discouraged.
- The full order lifecycle: booking, dispatch, return, inspection, and re-listing, tracked in one place.
- Automated customer messaging around dispatch and return dates, cutting the support inbox down.
- Back-office tooling for condition checks, repairs, and retirement of stock.
The outcome
The platform now runs the whole rental loop. Stock utilisation is visible for the first time, and the team stopped fighting a sales platform that was never designed for rentals.
